Lincoln: A Man of His Time, A Man for All Time

April 15 - May 9, 2015

Abraham Lincoln: A Man of his Time, A Man for All Time is a national traveling exhibition organized by the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History. The traveling exhbition was made possible in part through a major grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities. This exhibit invited visitors to look at Lincoln beyond the myth by presenting him in his own words in speeches, letters and proclamations. The exhibit encouraged a deeper understanding of the nation's 16th president's life, accomplishments and legacy.
